A Nonisolated Transformerless High-Gain DC–DC Converter for Renewable Energy Applications

Dc–dc converters with a high gain, continuous input current, and common ground are usually employed in renewable energy applications to boost the generated output voltage of sources. In this paper, high-gain dc–dc converter comprising multiplier cell (VMC) current low-voltage stress across semiconductor devices is proposed. The produces gain about ten times compared conventional at duty ratio 50% by utilizing switched capacitors inductors. simultaneous operation both switches same gate pulse offers easy simple control proposed wide range operations. boundary analyzed presented modes, i.e., conduction mode (CCM) discontinuous (DCM). Ideal nonideal analysis carried out integrating real models passive elements using PLECS software. simulation also used calculate losses hence working efficiency converter. performance steady state various similar based on boosting capability switching stresses.
